1) 2007 Candy white MKV GTI. DSG, votex kit, 19" Privat netz, tinted tails, smoked side markers & mirror signals, 20% tint, TT stubby, APR sport 3" turbo back exhaust, ABD stage 2 cold air intake. GONE.
2) 1993 Green Corrado VR6. ABD intake. FK Silverline coils, Zimmerman cross drilled & slotted rotors. GONE. -

Tripod or make sure the shutter speed is high enough to allow for handheld use. -

Try disabling night mode, maybe its in the options or maybe you have been switching it to night mode. It tries to let in more light by turning the sensor on for longer (I think) like a longer exposure.
If you are using an "auto" mode, it may be sensing the amount of light and adjusting the exposure time based on that. Switch it to a manual mode or if you have an action / fast exposure mode, use that.
The pictures will come out darker - c'est la vie.

My suggestions:- Set camera to highest ISO it will support
- Use the widest zoom setting your lens will support
- Turn on any optical image stabilization features your camera may have
- Brace yourself against a wall, the ground, or anything else that will help you not to move during the shot
