  • Kleenex for the Flames.

Talk about unsportsmanlike... Anyone see the game this afternoon? What's with all the crappy penalties and the chops by Mclennan?!

Chalk it up to being sore loosers.

the flames are doing exactly what they should do, the fisrt 2 games in detroit they didnt look like they cared in the end, this game they are mad and pissed which hopefully will carry over to tommorows game, they need to get a hate on for the team they are playing if they do that they play well, tommorow should be an interesting game for sure!

Detroit is running the net like mad, pushing players into Kipper and bumping him as much as they can. Sure the Flames got frustrated, but they actually did play better today than the earlier games in Detroit and they are just letting the Wings know they are not taking it lying down. Tomorrows game should be very interesting!

Mclennan was pure gold, 18 seconds in the game before he pulled a Ron hackstal and got kicked out, man I laughed my head off.

Well not to be mean or anything, but didn't the Canucks get shut out for the 3rd time this series?

                    Re: Kleenex for the Flames.

JOHAN FRANZEN got sweet revenge on the Flames for McLennan's slash as he blasted a shot over Kipper's glove at 4:23 in the second overtime period.

Na na nana, Na na nana Heyyyyyy Goodbye!

I just heard McLennan has been suspended five games, Calgary coach Jim Playfair has been fined $25,000 and the Flames’ organization has been fined $100,000.. Good times. Talk about putting the cherry on top of the first round loss!

                    I just won $50!

                      Re: Kleenex for the Flames.

The fine was excessive, as most of the commentators have said. Now if someone loses their temper they know they're getting screwed so might as well make it count and go full strength with the stick.

As for going 128 shots vs 250+ - well, statistics wins eventually no matter how good your goalie. Detroit will probably win the cup.

Oh well. Better to have made it to the playoffs and have a first round exit than to not make it into the playoffs at all (Toronto, Edmonton )

That's true, at least we beat Edmonton.
