I am thinking I need a croc skin band!

What lug width are you looking for? If it is 24mm, I can shoot you some good places to look. (not local but good.) I have a Heroic18 gator strap with the sub buckle on one of my watches.....it's bad-ass!!

There are lots of independent strap makers around, so just look and maybe find someone who has made some straps for the type of watch you have and then you should be good. Croc is nice, but not cheap, love it on my Monaco.

My wife has taken a bit to wearing my B&R these days, she keeps saying it is too big but has worn it 3 times in the last few days, so I may keep my eye out for a white BRS for a gift for her at some point, just need to ditch that patent strap it comes with.

I am not sure of the lug size, but this is the watch/style I am thinking of.

The sub in the buckle is sweet

A friend of mine just picked up a BR01-92...It's a watch that wears super big because of the square case. My oris is 47mm and wears like a 44 (which is good for my 7.5" wrist.) The B&R wears like a 48-50!! Too big for me. I can see myself eventually purchasing a 03-92..the 42 is a better size for me. I really dig the (military) olive green one!!

I think you can snag them between $2500 and 3K?? I believe that US retail is $3500..Most watches can be bought with a 25-30% discount.

depends how much the guy is willing to pay.......I sold my BR03-94 phantom for $8500,

                  but 2-3k is a safe number for a 01-92(4) and 3-5k for 03-92(4)

The lume is ok, but not great. You can read it in the dark, but its not the easiest. Fashion owns function.

My understanding it the Phantom is one of the most sought after B&R models, that being said, B&R is making a ton of "limited editions". The more "limited editions" made, the less they are all worth.

I do like the Commando models, maybe even more then the Phantoms. I need to see one in person.

The phantom was sweet ass, but I was to chicken to take it out in public and wreck it. I owned it for about 2 years and wore it 4-5 times. One day my balles will be as bigs as Blairs............ + I pretty much doubled what it was bought for when I sold it.

On a side note, there is a Fossil store in the Ironcross mall (just like the one in Vegas) The wife wouldn't even let me go into the store to look.

There is a Fossil store opening in SouthCentre very soon as well.

I do try to wear my B&R almost everyday, I take it on vacation, not too worried about it and a nice watch can always be rebuilt, repaired, or fixed. I have got the Mrs wearing my yellow rubber player for a bit so will be rocking those in Tokyo soon! Will also check out some of the Asian/Japan market Seiko's as they have some very nice versions over there, but not much budget for a big watch purchase this year.
