I love my TAG, but I want to get an Omega or Brietling. My girlfriend's dad and all his buddies are big watch lovers and each of them have 5+ high end watches... Bulgari, Brietling, TAG, Cartier, and some I have never even heard of but cost more than my car!
Wow the response to this thread has been really good!
One thing I don't like about some of the introductory models from some of the high end watch companies is that they are technically fairly poor watches feature for feature and quality-wise; you can get a much better watch for the price.
Example, I think the Omega Speedmaster uses a plastic crystal.
Sometimes I think they are being kind of dishonest by selling you a poorer watch than you could buy elsewhere just because you are buying the name Omega or whatever.
This is not always the case though as there are also some fine Omegas
I am not really a fan of oversized watches which often seems to be the thing now. I guess if you want your watch to get noticed it has to be huge or something?
I got a citizen titanium ecodrive, and it's lighter and more reliable than the tags/bulovas I was considering. Fossils are fine, but quite heavy. Wrist weight bugs me.
i have the all-black Nixon player, but has anyone seen the special edition all-white one? it's limited and i think there is only 20 of them or something. I think they go for about 1500 bucks, and there is a red ruby in the middle. also uses kinetic energy or whatever it is to stay going.

Tissot T-touch titanium is what I'm wearing. When ever I'm bored at work I can take the elevator from ground to 38 and watch the altimiter do it's thing, or check the weather with the meteo function. Yes, I'm a watch geek, but I also get bored easily and this was just the watch for me.
Bulova - Gold strech band
ESQ - Tachy Crono
Nixon - Black Rover Crono
Perry Ellis - Tachy Crono, cheaper end but quite a good watch
Will soon own a Breitling Bentley, cause my last name is Bentley
