Ya ive read a few reviews on the Bathys and everyone seems pleased with them, only bad thing ive heard is the clasp on the leather strap it comes with is better suited for people with larger wrists, which i do not have, which really limits the kind of watches you can buy (like you're saying, 46mm's look kind of comical on a guy with small wrists, i have a 42mm and i cant go anybigger than that)
Do you guys wear these watches every day? or just when you want to impress, maybe that is all the time for some of you?
For the guys who have a nice watch(es) what do you guys wear on a regular basis? I am looking to get a watch in the near future but it is not logical for me to spend 700+ on a watch right now.
Any suggestions for a quality watch that doesn't cost too much <400? (so I can spend more on my car)
Do not suggest a timex or something like that haha!
I'm not in the same baller range as the rest of these guys so I wear a Fossil on the daily.. they have a decent range of watches usually around $100 which is cheap enough that I don't care if it get scratched.

I wear my Tag Monaco daily, have for over 2 years now and has held up very well. The B&R I am hoping to get (have a catalog sitting on my desk right now) will probably be a weekend watch, mostly because it is not as formal looking as the Monaco.

I think some of the features of good watches make them ideal daily watches - sapphire crystal, solid case and strap construction, automatic movement...
But a lot of watches that have chronographs or some movements are very thick and I think will be more likely to smash into things.
Also really depends on what your daily activities include, mine being under a shirt cuff and at a desk most of the day keeps it fairly safe.
Late this afternoon I had a BR01-94 in Limited Edition yellow on my wrist, probably maybe one of only a couple in town and 500 in the world. The watch was amazing, so impressive, huge and heavy but I loved it, the only problem was the $7,850 price tag to take it home, just getting as much info before I go away so I can get what I want and the best deal!
A pic for reference, the one on the right is the BR01-94 but I would settle for the BR01-92 on the left as they are usually at least 2,000 less in price.
