With the famous Baselworld watch show taking place this week, thought I would check and see if anyone's a bit of a watch aficionado on the board. Plus, I'm shopping for a new watch too and can always use some new ideas. Seems like a lot of car people are also watch people and of course a lot of exotics like Porsche brand watches! Anybody?

Re: Watch Aficionados?
I love my Tag Monaco, one of my all-time favorites!
I hope to expand my collection someday, I am really liking some Parmagiani watches these days.
And one of my dream watches is a Roger Dubuis Golden Square but they are about the price of a Porsche so that may have to wait.
Edit There is a Golden Square, new just like this for $51,000US on Ebay right nowLast edited by Canadian Turbo; 04-18-2007, 11:00 AM.Blair

Re: Watch Aficionados?
I'd rather pay lots of money on clothing than a watch, I hate having big clunky things on my wrist

Re: Watch Aficionados?
Tissot makes a nice watch.
I like pilot watches, I covet owning an IWC someday but thats going to hit my wallet way too hard. One day maybe?
Think I may order a Hamilton this week. If my budget was double I might get a Tag... nice Tag blair but I'd go with the Carrera!

Re: Watch Aficionados?
Right now i'm wearing a Bulova watch, it was my grandpa's watch which he gave to my dad before he died and my dad then gave to me. I'm not sure what one it is but seeing as though it was my grandpa's, it will be pretty old, lol, but its still in amazing condition. I cant even get onto Bulova's website right now either to see their new designs- Alex

Re: Watch Aficionados?
So my Timex ironman watches don't count? I also like the fossil line for everyday use, they are nice looking and relatively cheap for what you get.
Since I am a technosexual I think I will make one of these : http://www.maushammer.com/systems/Wa...ild%20Log.htmlLast edited by Stonewall; 04-18-2007, 12:34 PM.Name: Brent
