*Official* Spotted Thread

[Silverstoned]

Red Jetta with carbon hood pulling on to Elbow drive yesterday around 3:30, and a Getta with hugely staggered rear wheels and steelies on the front in my neighbourhood. The red one looked pretty hot (the quick glimpse I got of it) but I'm not sure why teh Getta owner is in half winter mode, half summer mode. I really need to make it out to a few meets to see if any of these cars I'm spotting are on here.

I spotted a nice black MK4 jetta with carbon hood and what looked like Privat Netz around South Centre on sunday.

Spotted a bizarre (im guessing mid 90's) Jetta today while picking up the missus from bridlewood LRT (last stop south) Looked like it should be silver, with discoloured panels lowered as far as you can take it with wheels spacers on it like I couldnt beleive and stretched rubber all round. at least that what i saw.

Odd little thing but made me laugh with the stand out appeal. Anyone any idea?

I always see an Imola Yellow Golf (the 4 door variety) around the conventry hills Starbucks.. is that anyone on here? I wanted to do that same paint job on my Golf before I traded it in. Looks pretty good though, never looked up close though.

There is a Yellow mk4(07 ver) golf by 5th ave auto haus, i guess the person works at the gas station cuase its always park outside there.

I saw the guy with the Getta a few days ago in downtown and his car is nuts, i personally hate most Getta's but his i really like. Ive seen the owner once or twice before and i believe it was an Asian/Hawaiian dude driving it.

I saw it on Deerfoot turning off onto Glenmore trail east today at about 5ish

its actually imola. whoever made the vw site made a mistake, cause the paint code is the same as imola yellow.

saw a crazy low mk1 gti in kensington last weekend, i think it had schmidt lines, crazy wide set up!
