For those who are old enough, most of you will recall EZ MOTORSPORTS based out of Edmonton. They always brought their "super duper tricked out" EF hatch to the Calgary shows when the import scene was in full heat. I remember a Calgary Herald article in which the owner stated the car was worth $100 000 or something.

Anyways, I see this car daily in my condo parking lot....and it is EZ Motorsports new flagship project. 12+ years later the shop is still around, has a huge location, they do bodywork + 3m........and this is the car that represents their company:

I had a deposit in that project when it was Arriva 42 and then the crash came, but I did get my money back, eventually.

In happier E9X M3 news I drove in this am with a matte black E92 M3. It had a Dinan emblem at the back and, what I can only assume was a Dinan exhaust. Bottom line is that it sounded f#cking apocalyptic. The DSG downshifts !
