Looks like my redtop might finally be dead. Where can I buy one in the city?
    Thanks in advance!

Cant remember how much they are but Costco is by far the cheapest.

Edit: I know National4wd has them too (they are across from Blackfoot motorsports not far from C1). Don't ask how I know.

I didn't know ballers gave a crap about batteries, I thought it was just rimz and paintz. Guess I was wrong.

Me? I choose motomaster, I guess i'm not a baller.

                      Re: Optima redtops!

Went to walmart after work today and the guy said they don't make any Optima batteries for VW's. Obviously I know this isn't true however I didn't have with me the model # of the redtop out of my GTI. Can anyone help me with this?

Go get an orbital extreme or marine, they can be recharged when they run dead. My extreme was around 200 bucks and they have a 3 year replacement warrenty.

                          Re: Optima redtops!

Canadaian tire has re-branded optimas for a decent price, if I recall correctly.

I'm just about to go battery shopping - my warranty on the GTI just ran out and - surprise! - the battery is dying.

I don't think I have had a new car yet where the battery didn't die within minutes of the warranty expiring.

Costco only carries blue top optimas. Honestly for $200 I can buy over 2 batteries for my car.
