  • 2.0 jetta question

Whats high mileage for a 2L 2001 jetta? I'm still looking for a wife car for cheap. Saw this, guy says no accidents. Not sure about mechanical though. Pics suck, but its red, and a jetta, so you get the idea. 7900$, 178000km.

Mileage is high. I usually estimate around 20k per year as "average", so that'd be 120k.

      My 2001 has a little under 130k

      Looks "nice" though.

        Re: 2.0 jetta question

well, this is what i know:

2001 VW Jetta GLS, 4cyl, well maintained, 5Spd, Red Exterior, Black Interior, heated seats/mirrors, AC, CD Player, Spoiler, Keyless Entry, 178000Km Car runs great.

that isn't the real picture cause he doesnt have one. it'd be 7500$. Any 2.0ers have good/bad opinions on this car?

If it's got detailed repair history, I don't see the problem. No records, walk away. But that's only 100K miles and good price. 11-13 for ones with 60-80K. I'm looking at a 2.0 golf or something as another car myself.
