I've been taking the Jetta through a Hawkwood brushless carwash thoughout the winter, to get all that salt and crap off my car. It always looks better, but still so-so, after the wash. Went through the carwash again this Sat., and Sun. afternoon, as it was nice out, parked the Jetta on the driveway.
After Mequiar's Tech wax, Protectant on the outside trim, inside, and under the hood, and a good vacuuming inside and inside the trunk, it is FINALLY shining the way it should!! Did anyone else take advantage of the weather yesterday, to improve on the condition of their ride??

I think one of the first things i'll be doing in my new garage is waxing both cars.

I gave the GTI a good wash n' wax on Saturday. Unfortunately there a still quite a few lingering puddles on the road, so you would never know that it was recently washed. At least the wax is on there so the next one is just a quick wash n' dry.
