Help identifing this Euro Plate

Hey guys,

I was wondering if you could school me on this euro plate I picked up. Not sure if it is German or not, it doesn't look like the other German plates I've seen. Even though it has a Berlin registration sticker (I think) Can anyone identify it for me?

It looks to be a pre EU German plate, if you look at the sticker above the Berlin sticker, in the middle should be the year of the registration.

its does say Berlin on it, but ya check out the orange/red sticker on the plate, thats when it was registered.
i had a german plate that i gave my brother thats actually from germany. My ex g/fs dad stole it off a car when he was in germany, and brought it back for me.

those are the german plates pre-EU ones...

Well I just wanted to be certain.

It was registered in Dec of 98 according to the sticker.

I saw the Berlin sticker but didn't know that there was a difference between pre - EU plates and post - Eu plates (excuse the ignorance) But now I'm informed, it's on the car, and if someone questions me about it I have answers!
