Customs???

I want to order some Borbet wheels from tirerack.com but I don't know how much extra I will be charged for customs. Anybody knows how much I have to pay for the wheels when they cross through the border???Also, anybody ordered wheels from tire rack??? Help me, I need wheels. Summer is soon!!!

anything through tirerack talk to mytires and get them ti bring it in. they get most of their stuff from there, and they pay the customs

I just got off the phone with customs regarding some stuff that I'm looking into ordering and the duty is determined taking into account where the product is manufactured. So if it is something made in Germany, it'll be 6.1% and then the 6% GST on top.
Talked to a guy at UPS and I was told it was gonna cost me $3

UPS will kill you on fees.

I bet Mytires could get them. Don't know how long they will take though.

What kinda Borbet wheels are you thinking of getting Fred? What size and style?

I want the borbet type b's 16X7.5 with 205/40 tires. Nothing fancy but I think it will look nice and clean on my jetta
