    Where can I find PLCC LED's locally for a reasonable price? I need a bunch of white ones! Figured some of you electronics gurus on here would know.....Thanks in advance

        PLCC LED's? come again? if you just need normal LED's hit up active or let me know what you need and I may have some somewhere.

          PLCC-2 SMD's.....Nobody knows what they are, and thats all I've ever seen them as everywhere else.....I have no problem ordering them from the yanks or japan that way....

            Ahh they are just surface mount LED's just buy some off ebay or order then from Digikey.ca. No one in town is going to order those in stock. You will need to know the voltage level of whatever one you are replacing though. You can also use one of a smaller size if you are handy with an iron.

              Hmm, nobody replacing them ever needed to know the voltage.....lots of successful installs....anyhow, if anyone wants to change a VW cluster to white, I may have a few laying around....

                That is what I figured you where doing lol Just order some off ebay. I found some cheap ones after a quick search. More then likely the current will be fine and if anything they just won't be as bright or won't last as long as their rated life span.

                  Not changing the VW though....its the Gixxer cluster is losing its orange glow....
