Sure there is one to reallly fix it, send the board in to a repair shop to have the processor removed, reballed and reflowed back on. Everything thing else is just a stop game measure. My xbox recently 3 ringed too... after not being turned on for months. If you are interested in selling it I might be interested, depending on what they go for broken.

Considering a new 4gb 360 was 129 over boxing week. It's probably not worth sending it in to a shop.

There's a few kijiji adds saying they do 360 repairs but that seems like a big pain.

keeping this thread somewhat on topic, I've been playing some DJ hero.

anyone played donkey kong for wii yet? I've been playing it for a while now on the GFs wii and its pretty good! sticks close to the old style but throws in some new and fun aspects. All around a great game to play when you are bored. One thing I will mention though is the 2 player isn't that fun, well at least when you are at different levels of skill as it is with the gf and I haha.

nope.. i'm waiting for the new zelda for my wii.. i bought the new EA active exercise 2 game. its pretty fun when i'm not going to the gym days

I got the 3 RROD around November. With no luck warrantee wise, we picked up a new one with Kinect over boxing week, so now weve been playing the kinect sports recently. its quite fun. Also I picked up NFS Hot pursuit, and to be honest, i'm not that big of a fan. The handling controls on it arent that great, and you cant even drive standard. Its all automatic.

I just completed all the races on NFS Hot Pursuit on the weekend, just have to finish off the DLC and the online races and full completion of the game. Takes a bit to get the controls and have to remember it is an arcade racer but have had a lot of fun with some epic races and crashes, and some pretty frustrating moments too!

I actually just picked up inFamous recently, and it's a loa of fun. A few others I really enjoy are:

Black Ops
Need For Speed Shift
Uncharted 1 & 2 (these are almost mandatory)
Flower is off PSN and it's a very cool take on gaming, more interactive art than anything else.
If you ever played the Monkey Island games, you can get The Tales of Monkey Island off PSN too, as well as MI 1 & 2.
I also really enjoyed Killzone 2
Oh and Oblivion 4: Elder Scrolls if you like RPGs.

I think I am going to have to try uncharted as I like RPG's better on the PC. The only thing I hate about the PS3 is that it is a fat and the fan is f$&king LOUD. Going to have to do something about that.

Hell yeah!!!

I had never played any of the old ones the full way through, so I bought a bundle of all five Tales and the original. They updated the graphics and audio as well as adding in voice overs for the characters. I was so hooked I also snagged Revenge of LeChuck when it got released as well.
