Interesting setup. The geezer has his gear shift on the left and it got me thinking. How many people here have driven on the other side(RHD) and which do you prefer...? Does it make a difference to you at all?
I prefer RHD as my weaker hand (left) is on the gear stick and can co-ordinate better with the clutch.
Thoughts...?
From the Play Seat site you can find the top two images, as well as the fourth. They make quality products. An old friend used to have a previous incarnation of the Alcantera seat. How I lusted after that seat.
Sadly they're out of almost everything right now, Christmas is my guess why. Throughout the year usually spring and fall are prime times to snatch up their gear.
Music to permeate your soul … Jayson MKIV Jetta GLS VR6-PARTING OUT-
So a week after I got my new 360 the old one got the RROD. Anyone tried fixing this issue and had any success?
I found some DIY's but there seems to be a big difference as to how to do it which leads me to believe no one REALLY knows how to fix it.
trying to decide if I should try to fix it myself or just throw it on kijiji as a broken unit and see if I can get something for it.
I do have all the special tools to take the case off, so that's not an issue.
Sure there is one to reallly fix it, send the board in to a repair shop to have the processor removed, reballed and reflowed back on. Everything thing else is just a stop game measure. My xbox recently 3 ringed too... after not being turned on for months. If you are interested in selling it I might be interested, depending on what they go for broken.
