Looks like I'm the only one who doesn't like Black Ops. I feel like the graphics, game play and sound effects are much better on MW2. Black Ops feels like a completely different franchise.

yea most of my gamer friends have switched back to MW2, in fact several of them had ditched the game within 12hrs of the release. Its too bad as I was looking forward to the game.

Stopped playing Black Ops and back to MW2. Now my PS3 just sh!t the bed. Sounds like my hard drive is pooched. Anyone replace one yet? I've read that laptop hard drives work.

Picked up a new slim 360 with the kinect sensor.

Man the new one is so much quieter.

Started playing more online Halo3. No money for Black ops.

i saw it in walmart last week and some kid was playing some olympics game and anything he did the character did.. it was damn impressive! and yea the new black xbox are way smaller and much quieter.

Honestly? I played around with the Kinect a few weeks back, there was a rafting game among others. I'd say it was the opposite of impressive.

Yeah, any 2.5" SATA drive will work, the first thing I did when I bought mine was replace the 160GB drive with an existing 320GB 7200RPM drive I had taken out of a notebook when I upgraded to a 500GB drive.

If you have the slim PS3 the whole operation takes mere moments, I'd recommend installing the OS back on via thumb drive as it'll be a quicker than downloading through the PS3.

Not sure what the individual in that youtube video is really trying to prove. That's basically a kids game and he's not utilizing any of the controls. What happens if you don't steer in mario kart? I've played the demo for Joyride and I wouldn't spend a bunch of time playing it but would be fun for a kid and it's neat how you do the controls. One feature is the camera shows the room and you can paint your car any colour that's in your room just by dragging your hand around on the screen and touching different objects.

Kinect is cool, and it's pretty crazy how it captures every movement. Only real complaint I have is that to play 2 player you need a fair bit of room. I got it more for wife who wanted a wii for the little one and nieces nephews and this fits the bill. I haven't really seen anything yet that I could see myself personally playing. The fitness programs look pretty crazy though.

One thing that is almost creepy though is the face recognition. I haven't set it up yet but apparently it identifies you and will sign you in automatically when you step in front of it in game.

whos rocked out on gt5? I just picked it up on friday but unfortunately it hasn't come out of the wrapper and unfortunately it will have to remain this way till the eve of the 16th when my tests are done. Is it good??

i picked up GT5 yesterday, i think its pretty cool. awesome selection of cars. cool how the used dealership's stock is always changing.
