Then I'll wait until then. I'm also going to grab the new PS3 Bluetooth headset on the 29th.

I was looking at that new headset, what the heck is so special about it??? They boast a new lightweight construction but not a single site I come across actually lists the weight, which makes me think its not very impressive.

I currently use the Jabra BT 125 that came with Warhawk and love it. It does weigh in at a hefty 14grams but is fairly comfortable to wear for long durations.

Considering the new PS Bluetooth Headset is what $50?? and there are tons of other heasets you can get for that price the PS one better be damn good!

I personally think that when buying a headset for gaming, weight is the only determining factor, all that other fancy stuff you aren't going to use anyways. I mean sure being able to dock it and use it as a regular microphone is ok but I couldn't see using that consistently. I have a tough time thinking the PS one is going to weigh in less than 7-9grams which is what other ones weigh in this price category so I am having a tough time considering this a worthwhile upgrade over other new headsets


edit; ok so after searching I see maybe why they are calling the new one "lightweight" the old one weighed in (according to one site) at 58grams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my ear would fall off at that weight

Personally I don't care about the extra stuff, I only want a decent BT headset. I've used half a dozen different ones over the years for phones and other devices. Just to use a guess here. If the old one was 58 grams, and the new ones is 30% smaller, you can say that it will be at least 15% lighter in overall weight. Which would top out at 50 grams, still more on the hefty side. It seems your Jabra headset weighs a mere 14 grams.

Hah hah. I'm still on the fence until I see it, but I think that one may be the way to go. Especially if the new design is more comfortable. How much did you pay for that Jabra run you?

not sure what they were worth but they came with the Warhawk package, which was $60 for the game and headset so they can't be worth much.

now that I think of it though that docking microphone might come in useful when you and a buddy want to verbal some guys online.

Like I said, I'm holding out to compare headsets. I've have a couple Jabra headsets before, two actually. Both turned out to be sh!t.

Its official...new release date with no exceptions December 8, 2010. What game youmight ask...the only game with seven release dates before it was actually released..GRAN TURISMO 5. Don't actually hold your breath though...this might be another "official release". If this date gets pushed back again, I am going to by Xbox and Forza 3. Eff sony.

trust me dude, get a PS3. People who prefer xboxs over ps3's are stubbern. My PS3 has easily over 40 days of play time on it, that doesn't even include the movie time. I have a couple friends who switched to ps3 because they got sick of waiting on warrenty issues. Quality. Not trying to start a "what is better" thread but I will push a ps3 over a xbox anyday due to the fact that mine has stood the test of time.

I have multiple friends who have each gone through multiple 360's, my PS3 is rock solid. I spend just as much time gaming as I do watching movies as well.

Been playing Army of Two for the past little bit. Fun game.

Playing hours can get ridiculous. Friend of mine is 3rd in the world in Gran Turisomo. I was asking him which wheel I should pick up, and he responded "The Logitech, it will last you 8,500 hours before it breaks, I am on my 4th one".

Retarded. If I played 8,500 in my lifetime I would throw my system away.

New date is now Wednesday November 24th.

Does anyone give a **** anymore though??? I'd call myself a die-hard GT Fanatic (only games I own for PS1 and PS2 are GT1/2 and 3/4 respectively) but I personally have lost total interest in this game. Was planning on picking up a PS3 once GT5 came out but am now double minded about it.

Yeah, they could have released GT5, and been done with it, then released GT6 now. I think all the momentum, the franchise had is fading hard. Recent gamers have never heard of the franchise.
