The first official images of the production Volvo C30 hatchback have surfaced online. The car was first shown in concept form at the Detroit auto show in January. The car is expected to offer a similar engine lineup as the S40 and V50 series. The car was originally not expected to be unveiled until the Paris Motor Show in September. Given the release of photos, we suspect official specs and pricing will be announced in the near future.

Re: 2007 Volvo C30
I agree with Ryan, a little too much black plastic but imagine it all body colour!!
I think it's hot and can't wait to hear the pricing. I just hope the sunroofs don't explode
I liked the concept a little better as I don't think the roof sloped as much as this one but it's still nice. Also, I prefer my Saggitas over those wheels too.Jay

Re: 2007 Volvo C30
Hmm, I'm preferring this to the new GTI...based upon what I've seen so far. A bit more power out of the box most likely, the T5 is putting out 218 hp @ 5,000 rpm and 236 lb.-ft. @ 1,500-4,800 rpm.
Volvo's C30 site is:

It's a bit marketing heavy but gives you a better look at the car...the proof will be in driving it...Last edited by kuhli; 07-24-2006, 01:26 PM.
