  • Scanner for Volvo (VIDA)

Does anyone have a scanner that can successfully read codes off of a 2002 v70? I am waiting on my scanner to arrive but need to do a scan to find my codes that are driving me nuts.

Anyone have one or know who has one??`

What would you charge for a scan and printout of the faults?

              Hi, DaCoupe
Which scanner did you get? I bought a vida dice, and it works fine. Inteller may well have a point about poor quality, and lousy soldering. However, my unit works fine, and was extremely cheap. Haven't even tried to see if it has bluetooth, I am almost certain that at this price it has no bluetooth, but with USB, it works fine, and I've done a test of my xc70 with a dealer mechanic watching (and then a sweep test on his 00 S80, and the system worked fine both times, with NO problems, so cheap version or not, it works, and that is what is important to me. Now if it dies in 2 months, I'll be upset, but unless it does, I'll be happy, even if it is a cheaper version, just so it works. So far, works perfectly.
