A person who can drop $300k on a Volvo or any car for that matter probably doesn't even notice the money leave his account. Probably a wealthy car collector with a soft spot for Volvos. I hope it's priced at a little under $100k. It absolutely destroyed the M3 and C63.

I think it's main competitor is the S4 and if that's the case, let's do some weighted maths:

A top-range A4 (auto) starts ~$47k
A top-range S60 (auto) starts ~$53k

A top-range S4 (auto) starts ~59k

So if that's the case, a competitive S60 Polestar (auto) would start at ~$66.5k +/-$3k

So if that's the case, a competitive S60 Polestar (auto) would start at ~$66.5k +/-$3k

It has 175 more horsepower and does the 0-60 in over a full second faster than an S4. I think you might be mistaking the S60 R-Design with the Polestar car, that would be a closer comparison. Hell, it's already beat an RS4, M3, and C63 AMG pretty handily. It definitely does need to shave some numbers off of the price tag but one has to remember that a one off car isn't going to come cheap.

i think if it comes in around 100-110k it will sell, like said above, it destroys the S4 and beat the RS4, M3 and C63, if i had the cash i would pay upwards of 110k for the car.

You're mistaking the Polestar C30 "PCP" concept with the C30 Polestar Limited Edition car that Volvo released. The concept has over 400HP, AWD, 19in BBS F1 wheels, massive Brembos, and smashed an RS3. The one you guys are talking about is just an R-Design C30 with blue paint and a Polestar tune that is available for most new Volvo cars for ~$1,200. Funny thing is that the car is actually less money than optioning up an R-Design with a Polestar tune. Only 250 made, only available in the US.
