Finally, there has been some good news for Saab fans. According to a recent report appearing in British magazine Autocar, the Saab museum has been saved from destruction.
Administrators for the bankrupt company had been looking to break up the collection to maximise the selling price, but it is now reported that the city of Trollhatten has agreed to purchase the whole lot.
Some may argue that it is a priceless collection, it even includes the first ever Saab car - the Ur-Saab (pictured below), but the collection has been picked up for a reported price of £2.6 million (€3.1 million / $4 million).
