2002 Volvo s60 Tranny Question

I just picked up a 2002 volvo s60 and it appears to have a bit of a problem with the transmission. Does anyone know if the stealership is the only place that can do a code reset and a tranny flush on a volvo s60?

The tranny is kicking when going into 3rd. The fluid looks full. The filter appears to be a pain to change. There is now a transmission warning up now though since i topped up the fluid.

The S60 is basically a drain and refill we do have a scanner for it but it's hit and miss to pick up the codes depending on production range.
Tranny fluid has to be added at a certain temp and requires the correct oil.
