  • Japanese Tuned GT3

Japanese customizer J.N. Hephaiss has put together a kit for the previous-generation Porsche 911 GT3 (996 version). The tuner felt the GT3's stock exhaust wasn't quite loud enough for a car of this caliber, so a new system was fitted to the car. The innovative four-pipe exhaust features two modes for different applications. It can be be switched to 'circuit' (loud) or 'public' (silent) mode. Aside from the upgraded exhaust, the J.N. Hephaiss 996 features a bodykit that provides increased aerodynamics, as well as added cooling for the engine. Several components are available in carbon fiber for decreased weight.

Japanese tuners should stick with ricing out Japanese cars not German cars! Might as well stick some "Type R" badges on the car.
          Got 5?

The funniest thing is that if you look, the front bumper has a very characteristic gap/poor fit between it and the rest of the car at the top. Or so I think. I just don't get why anyone would buy a Porsche and then do this.

So you pay mega bucks for an ultralight GT3 then add extra exhaust components for additional weight...brilliant aftermarket genius! Clearly this is an up and coming company!

Why NOT have the black carbon fiber hood though? I don't understand. It just is missing something, and the hood is IT. With a scoop. The scoop doesn't have to do anything, maybe it could be tied into the air conditioning.
