TechArt has unveiled an aerodynamic-enhancement kit for the 2007 Porsche 911 Turbo. The production front apron receives more visual emphasis from the TechArt front spoiler while also reducing lift. The new TechArt rear spoiler optimizes the effect of the retractable production rear spoiler. The TechArt roof spoiler also visually stretches the roofline. The TechArt side sills give the coupe a longer look. The side mirrors are upgraded using custom moldings. TechArt also developed a rear diffuser for the Turbo, which extends the rear apron downward. A selection of 19- or 20-inch wheels are available. The TechArt VarioPlus coil-over suspension system provides ride height adjustment of up to an inch. It also features both "normal" and "sport" stiffness settings. Engine upgrades are still in development

I think it looks really good, kind of aggressive for a Porsche but it looks good. And dare I say it looks.........slammed?Last edited by Tuna; 09-06-2006, 09:38 AM.Jay

Re: TechArt 997 Turbo
I don't like it, the stock 997 turbo is just as good looking. For the money... seems like you're getting sideskirts and mirrors... The suspension enhancements I can agree with. Would be nice if they figured out some way to add 50 horses or something too.

Re: TechArt 997 Turbo
Well the performance numbers are out for this car now.....
German tuner TechArt has created a new kit for the Porsche 911 Turbo. After the conversion, the engine delivers 580 hp at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 700 Nm at 4,850 rpm. Power is transmitted to all four wheels via a modified six-speed manual gearbox with TechArt gearshift travel shortage and additional gearbox-oil cooling.
The 3.6 liter boxer engine was modified with two bigger turbochargers, a sports air filter, and the stainless steel exhaust system with special manifolds and integrated high performance catalysts. The car will hit 62 mph in 3.46 seconds, and can reach a top speed of 210 mph.
