uner TechArt has put together a customization kit for the rare mid-engine Porsche Carrera GT. The team developed aerodynamically efficient custom-tailored body components made from exposed carbon fiber that serve as a visual contrast to the metallic-orange special paint. The kit also features a new air outlet on the upper half of the front fascia and a one-piece spoiler lip. The low-reaching front spoiler reduces lift on the front axle at high speeds further and thus further optimizes directional stability. TechArt also developed a three-piece gurney flap that serves as the aerodynamic counterpart in the rear. The center piece of the separation edge extends together with the pop-up rear wing and in combination with the fixed spoiler edges on the left and right produces additional downforce on the rear axle. A new exhaust system boosts output from 612 horsepower to 635 horses, while also enhancing the car's sound. The interior has also been customized with an ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel with leather/carbon fiber rim, and a shifter made from exposed carbon fiber.

Re: Want to pimp your Carrera.....GT?
I know carbon fibre is high tech fairly expensive stuff, but all that exposed carbon fiber is so common on cheaper cars that I think that it actually makes that car look cheaper? Maybe its just me.KR
