Re: Crotch rocket schooled by Stuttgart
Yeah, its been shown time and time again that bikes have slower lap times at famous tracks like nurburgring, all due to traction in the corners, braking, etc.2006 Colorado Xtreme | AEM CAI | Walker exhaust | smoked glass | -1" dropped rear | Avic D3 | 8000K HID's
2002 GTI 1.8t | C1 SS | Upsolute 94 oct | Brullen 2.5" DP | Supersprint catback | Poly mounts | 19" Privat's | FK 55 kit | Projector lights | EVOMS CAI
2000 GSXR750 | Hindle Race exhaust | Telefonica replica | K&N intake | Custom ECU

Re: Crotch rocket schooled by Stuttgart
Yah I can do corners in the Jetta doing 80 that I get nervous on the bike doing 60. Someone said a great bike racetrack driver needs to be at 95% of his ability to beat a racecar driver at 60%.
Course, on a straight line...

Re: Crotch rocket schooled by Stuttgart
R1 is probably $13 - $14k CAD out the door.
I've never driven a R1 but it probably pulls hard to 260km/h+ for sure
I don't know how much the porsche cost, but the R1 is probably better bang for the buck if you can and like to drive on 2 wheels.put.......put.......
