    Yeah, its been shown time and time again that bikes have slower lap times at famous tracks like nurburgring, all due to traction in the corners, braking, etc.

        Yah I can do corners in the Jetta doing 80 that I get nervous on the bike doing 60. Someone said a great bike racetrack driver needs to be at 95% of his ability to beat a racecar driver at 60%.

        Course, on a straight line...

          R1 is probably $13 - $14k CAD out the door.
          I've never driven a R1 but it probably pulls hard to 260km/h+ for sure


          I don't know how much the porsche cost, but the R1 is probably better bang for the buck if you can and like to drive on 2 wheels.
