What are the specs on those wheels? And is that pic lowered on bilstein already? I love the black on white I'm still playing around with what wheels to get and if I want suspension but not much room in the wheel well means limited choices.

I can't quite remember, but I'm taking them off to put on winters this weekend so I'll check the stickers, they're pretty close to the stock sports wheels. You can get way more aggressive than the stock offset, even with lowering it. Since there's zero info out there about aggressive offsets and lowering a B200 in general, I played it safe and now I'm running 12mm spacers on the rear.

The thing about this car is that the practicality is unbeatable, it feels twice the size of a GTI inside but on the outside has a hatch profile. So you have to respect it, plus 200hp turbo. Nice buy. I would buy one as a family car anyday.

My advice if you want to mod it is to black out the roof, get a bit less wheel gap, and big (not necessarily expensive) 1pc wheels.

You're right I've researched everywhere about sizes and offsets for this platform and nothing is available. So I've eyeballed and measured everything the usual way (getting on the ground with some measuring tape) and there is quite a bit of room from the inner wheel to struts even considering the play from bumps and dips. I think I can go with an 18" lower offset wheel and hopefully fill in the wheel wells and make it sit flush to the fender, get tires stretched accordingly to avoid rubbing on stock suspension. The bilstein suspension got a lot of good reviews and I'll probably look into that once warranty goes.

The car is awesome. I think some wheels and the blacked roof will set it our perfectly. I can't get over how much room there is inside. My dad's quite tall and he can stretch his legs all the way in the front or back seat without adjusting anything. Can also fit two bikes in the back with the rear seats folded down. There's enough room in the back for one person to sleep comfortably.
