Hey Everyone!
My name is Sean, I've recently been informed by a good friend of mine about these here forums. So i decided to share my build of a 280CE on here for you guys. This build may be an abortion in some of your eyes, But it will be much cheaper for me to maintain and have fun in. I'm fully restoring the exterior and interior to former glory. The big change is the engine, a 1UZFE from a Lexus to be precise. Currently I'm leaving the M110 in and trying to get it to run until I've rebuilt the 1UZ. Over the past 5 days of tinkering and learning about the M110 I've managed to get it running and replaced most of the high pressure lines. For some reason the French mechanics that worked on it 10+ years ago thought electrical tape and rubber hose where sufficient enough for fuel lines and oil lines :P Here are a few pictures of when i first got it.
First Day of ownership
GIANT SURPRISE!
Yeah that is the correct mileage!
This was a German Track car.
And the engine going in!
Any comments/concerns or just general chat is welcome! who knows maybe some of you will see this rolling about in the next month
