I was lucky enough to drive a SL65 AMG V12 BiTurbo a few years ago...and still get sweaty palms when I think about that drive!!!

I couldn't own that car. Between tires and tickets, would be a rough go. The exhaust note alone, would be so addictive.

Stock vs Stock, yes it would appear that way. The PDK hooks up and is gone, the SL can never hook up, anytime we were below 100km/h and gave it throttle, we were hitting traction control so no power was making it to the ground and we would loose to anything decently fast that could hook up. Take ESP off and you just end up running sideways down the road with black stripes behind you .

I really wonder how this monster with proper tires that stick would fair against a PDK (modded or stock).

A 911 Turbo is a sports car an AMG (insert model here) is a muscle car and AMG black series is an over the top piece of bombast. I think its overall lack of traction is one of its best qualities. Makes it a bit if a niche car but it’s oh so awesome. If you want a track car+ DD get the Turbo. If you want uniqueness and bonkersness get the Merc.

^^ Werd I'd take the Merc but the 911 is the ultimate DD. If you got the money for the Merc, you most likely got enough for a PDK as well Two amazing cars either way
