According to Car Cost Canada invoice is $47,400 for this configuration.

Totals including all items above $52,335.00 $47,400.00

It appears there is 0 incentives on the GLK at the moment.

So if you offered 4% above invoice ($49,296) + GST you'd be at $51,760.

So, I'd say a fair offer is $51,500, taxes included.

Good luck in getting that deal! If you can get that deal it will be a very good deal you are getting. GLK is a car that's very hard to negotiate because it is a hot seller at the moment. Generally speaking we don't discount GLKs at all. For repeating customers we discount $500 bucks. And there are not much profit in the car as what people thinks. It will be nice if we do!

wow, that's kinda insulting.

It does sounds insulting but if no one is getting discount except repeating customers, that's not too bad. GLK is easy to sell but the profit margin to the company and sales people is just sad.... We don't have 10+% profit in the car like lots of people think we do! It would be nice if we do then I only have to sell 2~3 rides a month to make a decent living! LOL

I wouldn't trade the smart in at all because the value we have been getting for trades are extremely low these days. You are way better off to sell it privately. You are not thinking about the C63 AMG are you??? If you do you will have to let me try it when you get it! That car is crazy hot!

The margin is listed right there in the CCC report. I have used these to buy 4 cars now and some dealers always try and say they are not accurate

First of all, they are inaccurate. If you are in the car business you would know. Secondly, even if they are, it is really irrelevant because keep in mind dealers has to make some money to keep the lights on and door open. Reasonable deal is all we are looking for. And for some cars, dealer can refuse to take any offers because they are hard to get or they are very popular.

Well, No one knows but I think in Canada we have a smaller market in comparison to the US. Therefore, the allocation on number of vehicles we get in Canada will be smaller as well. I think this year we got 15 C63s in total in my dealership for the whole 2009 production year. That's not a lot since we have 300+ units allocated to us. Also it is a very popular vehicle everywhere in the world. It's a good bang for the buck thats for sure! That exhaust system they put in is just amazing!
