SEAT has taken the wraps off on the new Leon Cross Sport concept.
Billed as a "performance athlete in high-tech trekking shoes," the concept is based on the Leon SC Cupra and features plastic body cladding, an increased ride height and 19-inch alloy wheels with a two-tone finish. The high-riding hatchback also has LED headlights, a faux skid plate and a four-tailpipe sports exhaust system.
We're still waiting for interior pictures but SEAT said the cabin features leather and Alcantara upholstery, orange accents and a modern infotainment system that works with both Android and iOS devices.
A 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine resides under the hood and produces 300 PS (220 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission and a permanent all-wheel-drive which enables the concept to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds.
