Donkervoort has introduced the Bare Naked Carbon Edition that joins the D8 GTO family.
This is the first model of the Dutch company that comes fully fitted with visible carbon fiber that “not only accentuates the high-tech, super-fast character of the D8 GTO” but also reveals “a bit of its dark side.”
The producer explains almost all of the interior and exterior details are made of this material including the seats, door panels, window frame, dashboard and door sills. Carbon fiber can also be found down to the smallest details in the Bare Naked Carbon Edition – even the ignition cylinder housing, belt-and-roll bar trim and headlight housings are made of it.
Power is provided by a 2.5-liter TFSI Audi-sourced engine with 400 PS (294 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque. The standard D8 GTO accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.0 seconds and has a top speed of 255 km/h (158 mph).
