Meh, thickness in an 8000-series vinyl would be close. But no where near the hardness or a clear bra. I would just do it for the cost of paint and the prep work.

Reggie, is your 'art' on the paint of your car? That has got to hurt to resale.

It was a sheet of vinyl laid on the hood then done on that.

regardless of resale value i dont think i ever will to someone outside the family anyway.

and colin is correct, this was a matte black sheet of vinyl that was wrapped over the stock hood.

this was a art project for ACAD.

There is a guy in Okotoks with a red F430 coupe that took me out last summer, he told me he had ordered the wrap from Vegas and was getting it done. I was talking to his neighbor a few months ago and was told he had it wrapped flat black, so there is at least one wrapped Ferrari around town.
