So I traded in the old (04...) Golf TDI for a new Jetta 2.0T.. I've had it for about 2 weeks now, still miss the diesel everytime I get to the pump, I feel so... normal now.. but I'll be getting a new diesel as soon as the 2008s come out (hopefully with HIDs and leather) Anyways, heres the pictures of the new one...

Re: Pics of the new car...
Out the door I paid a little over 35k, It was brand new, Leather, HIDs, 2.0T engine, every option except the Premium Luxury leather package..
That package is an extra 2k and the only thing I would have wanted out of it was the stereo, and I figure I can find one of those somewhere for less than 2k sometime in the future.2007 BMW 328XI

Re: Pics of the new car...
Well I priced out a GTI which is what I originally wanted and it came out a few grand more.. plus theres a 6 month wait time on them (I'm impatient).
I asked about the TDI Rabbits and I was told not until the new Diesels are here in 2008... I'm thinking my next car will be a new jetta wagon with the rumored 140HP Diesel.
Yeah I got the smoked markers the day after I got the car.. next is euro springs and euro taillights, and maybe a chip if I get over the shock of having to buy premium instead of diesel... (I almost paid for some trucks diesel at a gas station when telling the attendent what pump I was at).2007 BMW 328XI

Yeah 35k wasn't with the trade in, and thats after GST and everything (a nicely loaded passet with HIDs and leather and such runs about 40ish, especially since I'd want a wagon it was pushing 42-43 with all the options I wanted)2007 BMW 328XI

Re: Pics of the new car...
Really nice car.
Get the chip....they claim that they increase your fuel economy (if you can keep your foot out of it), so it'll be like driving your TDI again.Jeff

Re: Pics of the new car...
Yeah I'm not sure which chip to get either, but then I haven't really read much about it yet. I think I want to get the tails and suspension first, the car is already fast enough to get me into trouble (but not fast enough to get me out of it!)2007 BMW 328XI
