I thought about the oem hids, but on my car I'd have to toss them in the oven and I don't have balls that big.
Light spread with the Helix is fantastic, again not HID but ecode with silverstars aimed properly is excellent and the high beams just light up everything. I was considering getting some TSX projectors and retrofitting a hid kit but after driving last night, I don't need to.
Will take pics of tails/markers/turns/lights tonight at meet (needs a wash bad first)
Rear lip spoilers have been around for many years.. that particualr style? Yes.. M3.
Angel eyes have only ever recently been on BMW's.. and I do think they look good on BMW's.. but thats it for me.
I was offered Angel eyes for my car... but there wasnt a chance in hell they were going on.
I wouldn't have cared if they came without, but they come like that so be it. That's the reason they have a rep for spagetti wiring - there's 13 bulbs back there. I actually have removed 4 bulbs/side when pics were taken to tone down the rings. Beats the FKs that are half circles.
And not stealing other makes mods, that's nuts. Porsche brakes anyone? Audi wheels on a non-audi? ABS, AWD, DSG, Halogens, HIDs, speed variable raising wings, short antennas on the roof instead of the hood - all the goodies come from somewhere.
That said, I love these lights so far. Just debating about disabling the drls since the projectors are on all the time.

I guess looking at it Porsche/VW/Audi have similiar roots.. and have combined in projects.. I was actually planning on removing the Porsche logo and replace it with the Brembo.. thats all I wanted.. a cheaper source of Brembo rotors. Ah well.. as I said.. to each their own.
Yah it's a toss up - they look nice and I don't have hids so it's just halogens. However silverstars have a rep for not lasting as long and they aren't exactly cheap.
BTW - I think porsche brakes look amazing and would rock the porshe writing for sure. No one will confuse badged parts with badging the entire car, and it shows you got the OEM porsche parts as opposed to guys like me who just painted the calipers.
