I have a question about high mileage and putting a turbo in your car (not to high jack your thread or anything), its not like I am going to run out to turbo my car anytime soon just would love to do it over my internship when I have the money and time. Is there any major concern about doing a turbo project on a car with 150,000+ KM? Would I be making a world of trouble for myself?

The way I looked at it was with expectations of my engine eventually going.. this will speed that up, but as long as I somewhat expect it.. C'est la Vie.

Dom was saying 1.8T's can be had for under 2 grand... and if the compression is good.. I might end up getting new rods later on, as they are the weaker point on the AEB, as it has different pistons then the others.
