1998 Jetta GT 2.0 Turbo Build

Hello everyone.
I finally have something to show you guys so here we go.
I will keep the thread updated as parts come in and as things get installed

I have about half of everything I need:

Turbo, K26, very similar to a T3 Super 60, or so I'm told.
Practically no shaft play



BOV





Wastegate



I have the manifold. Chip, head bolts, lower comp head gasket, bigger maf, are on their way..

Need: Oil lines, water lines, injectors, intercooler, plumbing, dp, exhaust, gauges

Thats what I have so far, hopefully it will be running for summer.

i'm super jelous of all the modding now!!! i can't spend any money on my car anymore.. and all i see is the mad modding and it reminds me of how much fun my jetta was to me.. (lousy money pit LOL)

i think will have to compare k26 against k26 in a little race this summer didnt know u got a bov allready.

My k26 is water cooled so Im pretty sure you don't have a chance

Maybe I'll pick the dp up when the gaskets come in.

Progress!

Today I got both intake and exhaust manifolds off. Drained oil. Took bumper off. Basically just getting it ready for turbo.





Took me a good hour and a half to get the stupid heat sheild off.. I'm pretty sure I need a tetanus shot now
