So as some of you know, Darcy finally got around to replacing her old 2007 FJ cruiser. Main requirement was another SUV or truck with a manual transmission. God bless her!!! Anyways, given how extremely good the FJ was for her we decided on a new Tacoma. With the help of one of our own (Thanks again Patryk), we went to southpointe toyota and ordered a new truck.
Its a 2017 Tacoma TRD Sport, Quadcab, short box with a 6 speed manual gearbox. Here are a few pics!!
Day we took it home:
20 minutes later, TRD Pro grill installed:
Darcy wanted some wheels and tires that looked more agressive so we bought a set of TRD Pro Rep wheels and a set of 265/70/17 (stock is 265/65/17) BFG KO2's. Got them installed yesterday. Super happy with the outcome!
Might do a suspension leveling kit or a bit of a lift later on but for now Darcys super happy with it. Cant believe I used my mod money on a truck. Oh well, she deserves it!
