So as most of you know I sold my beloved RS4 about a month ago. Luckily it went to a great home so not too worried about it. Replaced it with something very different. I've had so many people ask me which one I like better between the new Golf and the RS4. Very difficult to say as its comparing apples to oranges. I absolutely loved the RS4. Great looks, great sound and just a feel of quality about it. I would equate it to a really classy suit. I do miss it however must say the more I drive the Golf R, the more I'm really beginning to enjoy it. I love the power, the up to date tech, the fuel economy and the fact its brand new with warranty. I probably wont do much to this car mod wise (famous last words) other than spacers and possibly the VWR springs. I might also end up doing the cherry OEM LED tails but that's not a huge priority. So far I have done the full stoneguard treatment (full hood, full fenders, bumper, lights etc) and the neuspeed power module. Its not super aggressive however its a piggy back tune that eliminates any worry about flagging a TD1. It did really wake the car up however (extra 40 HP).

Re: Decided I needed another blue car!
I've been so tempted lately, torn between adding a gti to the fleet or selling the rs4 and getting a golf r.
I need a sunroof it's a must for me so I'd have to wait till vw offers one to go that route.
Congrats on the new car looks great in that color. Thought you might say you bought a spirit blue rs4.

Re: Decided I needed another blue car!
pretty sure even tuning boxes can be detected now cause they have traps in the ecu, since your car will be requesting more boost and fuel than it should, all the time...
haha nice buy i like how these look, hopefully the jap turbos have been sorted out by now, what is it on the 13th revision? haha
