Its a good lookin car. My advice is take off the Cupra lip and shave down the 2 middle tabs a bit. Currently it sags down in the middle and looks like it doesnt belong. To get them fitting nice on .:R bumpers, you need to take a few mm's off the 2 tabs in the middle so they sit straight and look aggressive. My 2 cents

yea the cupra lip is mangled I was going down Stoney and smacked a headlight on the road lol, and it pulled the lip down now it looks hella goofy

Dont get discouraged about the lip. A little patience and a heat gun should help form it back the way it should be!

I believe it is but this turbo was replaced with the rebuild kit, if not I'm f*d lol whatever it's only going to be in my possession for a few months at most

ok. so. I've come to the conclusion that the previous owner has lied to me lol. the turbo needs to be rebuilt from what I can tell it will rev all the way to 5k before attempting to hit boost, instead of where it should hit at 3k. the owner told me it needs a turbo exhaust gasket to fix the problem HAHA right? idk if that is true or not. from reading his thread it seems the turbo is f'd. unfortunately that was my error when buying the car I want to pleade ignorance lol. so I'm going to try and get a hold of the owner even tho is isn't responding and try to figure this out. or I sell this price of sh't now. I may be able to rebuild it but I have been laid of from Mazda lol and have no replacement job yet. so let's see what happens. thanks.

5k sounds about right for the turbo thats way too big for a 1.8t

it's supposed to be boost at 3k (what I have been told) or 4.5k it's a Borg Warner k04, I spoke to the owner and he said the turbo in my car is a new ko4 that isn't blown and all it needs is a exhaust gasket and check piping to fix the problem. any help or suggestions?

A K04 does not spool that late (4500). No chance in hell. There are bigger problems at play here, like not having any tune. Boost at 3000 would be normal for a K04 lol.

Really post pictures and let us see what is currently in there...
