Hello again everyone, as some of you know I picked up my third R32 last fall from slhazy. The car has been undergoing some change so figured I'd start a build thread of sorts. I'm not entirely sure what the end goal is, but this is where its at so far!
Picked up HPA's new touchmotion gen 1 haldex controller, found some issues with the wiring while doing the install, no faults set with pins completely corroded away, only felt like late engagement of the rear end, new connector and pins, problem solved!
Found some wiring for lights in the trunk that wasn't the greatest. All cleaned up now!
Found a set of wheels in Vancouver, 3 piece Porsche Cups!
Decided to change the HID reps to OEM HID's
After picking up the headlights I decided to start sourcing other OEM+ items, so far I've found an OEM R hood bra, OEM euro R tail lights, Aristos with R center caps, OEM euro stubby mirrors and OEM VW Lexan headlight covers, brand new still in packaging. Very cool!
When I picked the car up off Sean I knew it had paint issues and since the mirrors have to be done, I figured, why not get it all done at once. The car is in now for a complete respray! Tornado red clear coat issues??!

Some things that have been found since the body work started like sub-par repairs on the front bumper, in the video you can see that when the hood was redone for the notch fill it wasn't prepped very well and all the primer flaked off just like the OEM clear coat. Everything is being stripped and being re-done properly.

And the car finally in primer! I'll post more updates as they come, possibly turbo things?!
