Ever since I got my centering plates my car has been rubbing on the rear right fender liner, it actually rubbed so much that theres a hole in it now. my question is, whats the "mechanism" behind it, and would it be okay to remove the fender liner from just that one side? I've heard of people doing it before but just wanted to double check what it was and if those hoses would break or anything. This is my DD so I know its gonna get real messy in there.
That is your charcoal canister for your fuel evaporation system. Also the leak detection pumps is just above that round filter. I have been running my gli for 3 years now with no fender liners.
I always wanted to wrap the console with brushed aluminum just like the 20th and 337,thought it looked nice. So i finally took on the task for doing it, fairly cheap too! ($20 for the wrap).only had a few problems, cup holder is really hard to open but that's how it always was, top left corner of the wrap popped up but fixed that and there's a small tear but its 90% covered by the radio. Fairly happy how it turned out. What do you guys think?
Looks good, but I feel like the radio surrounding wrapped is too much. Did you use any heat when you applied them? I had no problems at all when I wrapped mine two years ago and they still look great, I did spend 2-3 hours doing mine though.

Would any of you know what would cause a knocking noise on the rear right wheel, or atleast somewhere around there? It sounds likes its a hard plastic hitting on something hard, not metal on metal sound though. It started happening 2 nights ago after i got out of work, it seems to make the sound after I go over a bump or any crack in the road. its only 1 knock too. today i took the wheel off and shook everything around but nothing was loose, and the rear axle bushing was fine. the charcoal canister was abit loose but its been like that for 3 weeks now, it only rocks side to side, anyone have any pointers as to where I could look?
