Completed the 2.0T Coil "Upgrade" last week, and spent the next few days adjust my spark gap to avoid misfires under full boost.
Eventually bit the bullet and swapped the plugs out for sidefires, thus ending the spark plug gap drama.
Running like a beast once more.
Also picked up the rear crank seal/retaining plate/gasket from Natty. It will be my first time pulling a tranny on an S4, so I'm a little apprehensive about doing it myself at U-Wrench....any experienced B5 heads fancy a tranny party?
Anyone have any recommendations between 6puck vs 8puck Clutchmasters fx400? It currently has a 6, but seemingly the 8 is more forgiving for daily traffic (stop-go-1st-2nd).
When I was looking for a clutch I came to the same conclusion you did. More pucks is better for daily duties, and less is better for launches but more grabby.

My 8 puck FX400 is almost dead after about 30,000km. Never launched it or anything. The engagement is pretty on-off as well, but once you get used to it is reasonably easy to drive.
Likely going to do the JHM RS4 clutch next. Friends S3+ allroad ran one and was awesome.
