It seems to be the common B5 airbag control module fault. The car is at CAW right now, and on Friday I was being told it was going to be sent to be re-flashed..
Kind of an annoying fault to be honest, as I'm going to be fitting a Recaro bucket seat anyway...but alas, they won't let it pass without this $$$ exercise being done.

I see P&P have 5-6 B5s in town, so if I had time I'd go around and grab a few modules and hope for the best, but I'm between a rock & a hard place unfortunately.

Better re-flashed than replaced for a new one. They are pricey
