So i just traded my Golf in today and drove away in a 2012 A3 TDI. I am completely in love. Not many plans yet but I'm mostly looking for advice and help in the Audi game since I'm new Good sites to look at, some cool upgrades and accessories. Anything really!

Had to switch to auto after only ever driving standard due to some knee issues. It's a dream to drive right now. Has the s tronic dsg with paddles though if I get bored haha

Thanks guys! I traded my golf for it Derek! Got a pretty good deal out of the whole thing so I'm very happy.

First time owning a diesel too, I had a mk5 Jetta tdi for about 3 weeks once while one of my cars was out of commission and I'm looking forward to the fuel economy. The needle hasn't moved at all since I got it and I drove it all over haha. Anyone know what grille options I have for it? Can you get an all black mesh or waffle style grille like RS models?

ECS has a few different grilles on their website - RS-style, S3, and the stock one in a few different colours/finishes

So, 2009 is when the body style changed, correct? Is there any other model code I should be aware of? Like how there's mk1-7 of VW now, is there versions or "eras" of this car?
