    Re: A3 tdi

I'll monitor it a bit closer with the amount and everything. I'll get the power service! Thanks everyone. I assumed it should be super great, I just haven't noticed much of a difference unfortunately. Still filling up every week. I'll report better data in the coming weeks.

If your friend is a service advisor, disregard what they said. If your friend is a tech I would say ask around a bit. Don't just listen to one person.

Also, the A6 grille conversion looks pretty cool in pictures but I have a friend that did it to his b7 a4 and it looks waaay too big IMO. Better to stick with an actual a3 grille. Trust me

The A6 grill is custom and cut out and put into am A3 grill... Unless you do major work there is no way to fit any other grill in.

32,000km it's not going to need additives, save your money. The intake isn't going to be carbon'd up with that low of miles either.

Check out tdiclub.com in the forum and do some reading up on driving for good fuel economy you would be surprised. I was getting 700-750km/tank in town and after some research and such i have hit 1000km/tank in town. Large part of good mileage is driving habits. Sure there are little things like doing a ventectomy and standing at the pump pouring every drop of diesel in it you can.

How many litres of fuel for 600-700km out of curiosity?

          Nice audi by the way

            Re: A3 tdi

Power service raises the cetane numbers, and raises the lubricity of the fuel...something the newer Audi/Vw diesels can benefit from considering the sporadic HPFP failures.

Thanks guys! I'm a diesel noob. Actually no, I don't know too much about cars either way. Appreciate it all!

I hope you get it sorted but I could in theory inquire about an RS3 grill at my local dealer, but shipping could be a PITA...

That'd be unreal, but I think the official grill has the rs3 badge does it not? And the waffle behind it is solid to house it? I could never up badge a car to something it isn't, and it would look bad taken off.

The badge should come off, does on all our grills. Just clips on.

But confirm that the Facelift bumper is the same for the A3 and RS3. I know prefacelift the RS3 grill is a few inches taller.

Not to mention retail on the grill is 1200 or more, curious what cost is haha.

                      BTW just found this.

                      http://uthmanbinaffan.org/audi8.php?...11-p-9899.html

                      and this.

                      http://www.ebay.com/itm/RS3-8P-front...0b9eb7&vxp=mtr

This one lists as a 2008-2012 But says not for facelift 2012 - so I emailed the seller for confirmation.

350 bucks, I would do it even haha.

Pretty sure that one is pre-facelift... looks like mine for the surround bits.

                      But here!
