Wow, glad you're somewhat OK...its incredible that these rare cars protect us the way they do...and then the insurance company's try to hose us out of their worth...speedy recovery...looks a bit worse than the one we were just in with the W8!
Wow Dustin! Glad you are relatively OK. Good thing you were in the UrS4 would have been a lot worse in a lesser sled. Hope you heal and find a
I didn't put 2 and 2 together that Monty is you brother and that we had met. How many bright red mk4 jetta's can there be?
Yeah, one and the same... IIRC you and he met at his work when you dropped off those rotors for me. Thanks for the concern, and I agree... I'd be toast if I'd been rocking out a Kia.
WOW! Glad to hear you are alright. And you've got a pretty great attitude / perspective about it all, man. Wishing you a speedy recovery of the injuries you did sustain.
Cheers, it's a major downer but best to roll with the punches and come out on top!

Thanks, it was pretty severe... note the opposite wheel from the side of impact shorn off and lying on the ground, beside the car!
Unfortunately, they won't comp any mods/maintenance unless you can prove it was recent work that pertains to reliability/safety. I'll use the receipt of my recent timing belt service to demonstrate value and other comparable cars.
Sounds like a really expensive leak lol. Sweet winter beater though!!
Haha it sure was. That's what lead me to find a nice shell (black on black) with 100k km more miles in 10x better shape. The rest was (lol and is) history.
