Wow, glad you're somewhat OK...its incredible that these rare cars protect us the way they do...and then the insurance company's try to hose us out of their worth...speedy recovery...looks a bit worse than the one we were just in with the W8!

Absolutely. If nothing else, you can point to this example if the wife ever complains about the UrS... but look honey, it's safe!

All wounds heal in time, and part of my rehab is moving into the chassis I'd had my eye on all along... a UrS6 avant! Gonna take some time but will be worthwhile.

It was a solid runner, but leaked PS fluid at about 1L/100km.

Sounds like a really expensive leak lol. Sweet winter beater though!!

Thanks, it was pretty severe... note the opposite wheel from the side of impact shorn off and lying on the ground, beside the car!

Unfortunately, they won't comp any mods/maintenance unless you can prove it was recent work that pertains to reliability/safety. I'll use the receipt of my recent timing belt service to demonstrate value and other comparable cars.

Haha it sure was. That's what lead me to find a nice shell (black on black) with 100k km more miles in 10x better shape. The rest was (lol and is) history.
