LOL, I love my stickers! They will stay on for now. I was actually gonna get all the decal redone in black so that they wouldn't stick out as much and blend in a bit.
Wow, i completely forgot about this thread. More to come for sure.
Not much happened over winter, just raised it up an inch, and enjoyed the crap out of this car on the stock wheels and winter tires.
Halloween mode for fun:
Winter:
Sold the Rotiforms to flipstah (which look great on his car BTW), and picked up a red set of Raderwerks M-Ten80s from a buddy. Regretting that decision to sell the Rotiforms now, but decided that I will sell these red wheels and move to 19's. I guess I can't pull off the color like I thought. So now I've got my eye on two different sets of 19s here on the forum.
Lowered back down on the Raderwerks:
Next pics you'll see will most likely be with a different set of wheels.
I've been very bad for changing wheels so much on my previous vehicles (my Subaru went through 7 sets in 5 years), so I told myself that I would not do this again on my S6. So far, I'm heading down the wrong path. Looks like I'm already on my third set (not counting the stock wheels) in less than 9 months of owning the car.
As in my previous post, the red wheels weren't doing it for me. I was in dire need (want) to step up to 19s since the wagon was so big, and had my heart set on EDOthugs Rotiforms, but in the end he decided to keep them. No hard feelings at all, they are his wheels, and I think they look phenomenal on his sedan. I had a flipstahs Volks as a backup set in mind, but it wasn't looking good since someone was supposed to look at them Saturday. Took the car in to see my buddy at Zero Limit anyways to even out the right height and do an alignment in preparation for whatever wheels I'd end up with.
Well it looks like it was meant to be and stars were aligned, as flipstahs wheels are now in my possession and went on the car yesterday late afternoon! It was snowing most of the day today, and then it stopped and the streets were drying, so I decided I'd wash the car and shine up the new wheels. Was decently sunny when I rolled into the car wash, but when I was done and dried up, I rolled out to wet roads and snow again. Serves me right.
Snapped a few pics on my phone anyways of how the car sits currently for the sake of this thread:
For stat keeping, wheels are Volk Racing LE37 19x8.5 +35 all around wrapped with 225/35/19 Toyo Proxes T1 Plus tires. Front have a 20mm spacer, and rears have a 25mm spacer. I'm going to try to source the original Volk Racing spoke decals and put them on the wheels. The red decal made for the TE37 SL is fine with me, but I'd just rather have the wheels as they were originally, the 'JDM' fanboy in me still lives on. Also, I may get 15mm spacers all the way around, and fit 255's on the wheels since I like that meaty look and have the room for it still.
